The world has been undergoing deep changes in the 21st Century. A new stage of corporation and dialogue between the East and West is continuing to unfold. This new stage provides the opportunity to enrich mutual understanding of different cultures, as well as the opportunity to integrate the enhanced awareness into a global perspective as we move into the twenty-first century.
The East-west Cultural Exchange Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, duly incorporated under the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. Its purpose is to promote stronger friendship, cultural, education, and business ties between the United States of America and China, as well as, other countries in the Pacific Rim. The Foundation also provides financial support to both Chinese and American children or students who are dedicated to research or pursuing advanced study in these disciplines.
